Therapy enquiries & contact

Why Pattern?

Because every person has a story, and every story leaves a pattern. The pattern may show up in the relationships you choose, the way you speak to yourself, how you cope when life feels overwhelming, or the ways you have learned to survive. Some patterns are rooted in love, resilience, and connection. Others emerge from experiences of loss, trauma, neglect, abuse, rejection, grief, addiction, or pain that was never given the space it deserved.

At Pattern, therapy offers a space to pause and make sense of your story. Together, we explore the experiences that have shaped you, the meanings you have carried, and the patterns that may still be influencing your life today.

We recognise that some experiences leave lasting marks. Therapy is not about forgetting what happened, pretending it did not matter, or forcing yourself to move on. Some things cannot be undone, and some losses may always be felt.

Instead, therapy can offer a space to understand your experiences more deeply, make sense of their impact, and develop a different relationship with the things you carry.

For some, that may mean finding peace with the past.
For others, it may mean learning how to carry it with less shame, less fear, or less self-blame.
For many, it is about creating space for greater awareness, choice, self-understanding, and connection.

At Pattern, we work with individuals and couples experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, childhood emotional neglect, domestic abuse, grief and loss, addiction recovery, low self-esteem, family difficulties, life transitions, and the lasting impact of past experiences.

Whether you are struggling in your relationships, carrying the weight of childhood experiences, navigating loss, recovering from abuse, questioning old ways of coping, or simply feeling stuck, therapy provides a confidential space to explore what is happening, understand yourself more deeply, and move towards the life and relationships you want.

Because healing is not about becoming someone else.

It is about understanding your story, honouring what you have survived, and finding your way back to yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does therapy last?

Most sessions are 50 minutes long and happen weekly. Some clients stay for a few months for short-term goal-oriented work, while others engage in longer-term psychodynamic therapeutic exploration.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Yes, I see clients in person at my private practices in London Bridge and Islington. I also offer online sessions for flexibility.

Is everything I say confidential?

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work. Everything we discuss is kept private, with very limited exceptions regarding safety, which I will explain in detail during our first session together.
